I wouldn't have paid more than £10m. Think it was a rushed signing. Should have made Drogba as a makeweight in the Torres deal and not sign Carroll, and perhaps sign another striker in the summer.
Welll Torres was only worth £25-£30M on his past 12 month health and form, the extra paid the overcharge on Carroll
