To tell or not to tell??? Help plsss................

Hi there fellow members, moderators and administrators on this forum.

I have some query here.

1. I have traveled to the UK twice on a Family Visit Visa. First visit was Jan to June 2007. Second visit was September 2008 to January 2009.

2. By February 2009, I applied a family visit visa again but was refused. I appealed but since it took a long time, I withdrew the appeal and applied for another family visit visa again last October 2009. Sad to say, it was refused again. Anyway, the refusals were justified.

3. On my 2 family visa applications last 2009, I have never mentioned anything about my boyfriend I met from there during my last visit. Some of our great moderators and members here advised me to mention about him but was silly enough as I was scared to be refused a visa not knowing I will be refused on other reasons either way.

4. Since I could not come back to the UK, my British boyfriend visited me here last February 2010 and got engaged. We then got married last November 2010.

I am about to submit my Spouse visa application next week but scared that I might get refused again because I have not told them anything about my husband and withheld details against them on my previous applications.

Do I have to tell or not to tell them that I met the my husband from the UK during my last visit last 2008 and he was already my boyfriend at that time?

What will happen if I decide just lie to them to make my life easier that I met my husband online last November 2009? I suggested November 2009 as this was my last application submitted to them. My boyfriend also visited me February 2010.

Please help me. I am very confused. What is the best thing to do?

tell the truth, they should not refuse a spouse anyway nor should your refused family visit visa's effect your app

i would just state you were friends when you first met in 2008 and later over time it became more than a friendship

It can be perplexing to understand what judgements they might make can't it?

Your aim is to convince them you have got a GENUINE relationship, and that your marriage is not just another sham marriage to get someone in Britain..

You convine them you have a GENUINE relationship, you'll get your visa!

They wont care if you found your boyfriend under a rock! You need to satisfy them you have a GENUINE relationship - That is your goal...

I do have a genuine relationship with him and for the record, all his family members and friends were here when we got married last year.

hi, you must tell them that you met him in the UK and then fell in love, you must also state in your later the dates from the time you have met him and all the important dates that you have celebrated together. read my recent post regarding my husband getting his visa, you'll see the letter that i have submitted to the ECO, maybe you'll get an idea of some sort from that. family visit visa ? so you were visiting a family member not him ?

i don't think what you tell them would make much difference, your married and its difficult to refuse a spouse visa. but

you don't need to make a big thing out of this, just say you first met in xxxx, and later you became friends and over time the friendship developed into a relationship, he came to visit you in the phils in xxxx and you married in xxxx.

what ever you do, just make sure your husband and you are singing from the same hymn sheet
