    traveling in europe..

    ok a simple question...maybe stupid too...

    my wife and junior have got their residence cards...does that mean europe is ok to travel in.,...or some countries...or schengen visas...


    maybe someone has a list of countries that are ok to travel to??....

    I assume you live in Ireland (north or south).

    Neither are in the Schengen Area, therefore, if you hold a RP passport you will need a Schengen Visa if you want to visit a Schengen Area country. As long as you have one for the country you will enter first then you are free to travel to any other Schengen Area country too.

    My wife has Spanish residencia, thus she can travel freely within Schengen.

    There are many threads here about how best to obtain Schengen Visas, so no point in repeating again.
