I wonder if this is repeated or you can watch it on the BBC website cos I've missed most of it
I saw most of it and was trying to mention it on here, but the pc was messing about! Will watch it again on BBC iplayer on catch up TV.
It was a very good program. Well worth watching.
I watched it with friend who peviously cold not understand my fascination wit the Phil. Now they d I think on the whole a well produced program that gave a positive image of the people.

Yes, it was a good program, but I have noticed that they always seem to show the poorer areas of Manila and the country in programs on Philippines and not so much of newer, less poor areas or the beautiful islands and beaches. I wish they would show a bit of everything-the diversity, so people who don't know about the Philippines won't think it's all like that.
a good program, the usual type of program thou, poverty and booming population with bus driving thrown in.
poor lady earning 70php a day
Driving a 70 year old vehicle on the wrong side of the road in a place you don't know in rush hour of a massive city, and having to take fares in an unfamiliar currency while driving at the same time
Talk about a nightmare in multi tasking
Fair play to the guy.
What a wonderful programme. Of course, I am sure the intention was to tug at the heartstrings but in my case it sure did work.
The bus drivers family home was said to be 200 miles north of Manilla. Did anybody catch or recognise where that was?
my stepson and misses spotted a few places around San Andres in the program
