someone hit a cat with car, poor cat, hope she will be ok

last night i was driving home through a nice area, and there was a car stopped with hazzard lights on, there was a lady and a man across the road with a cat, i felt that somthing was wrong, so i turned around and went back to see if the cat was ok, the cat wasnt ok, had been hit by a car, wasnt the man and lady that hit the cat, the cat was breathing fast and was blood, was very upsetting for me,
the guy was ringing the rspca, i said to the lady to knock on some doors to try to find the owner while i tried to comfort the cat, but no luck findind the owner, the rspca said to take the cat to the emergency vet in the town, took a while to get the car in the car without hurting her,
today i went to try and find the owner so i could tel then where there cat is, because i know they will need to see eachother, i spent about 2 hours knocking on door up different road but no luck, i felt upset and dissapointed that i didnt find the owner,
i reng the vets for advise and to see if cat was ok, but the nurse? had gone for her break and said they would call me back but didnt, they said not to put signs on lampost because its not legal, the said to put an advert in the express & star, ill get the express and star for the next two weeks to see if the owner puts an advert, and ill put an advert also and in the local shop there,
god bless the fluffy cat, hope she will be ok

I would have done the same Tony...I'm soft when it comes to animals.
We feed loads of street cats in the Philippines, when I'm there...the wife does everyday.

Oh dee(a)r ... I'll bet! A former girlfriend of mine's car collided with a sheep, late one wet night. Seems the animal had got out of a field adjacent to the main Perth-Dundee road ... and strayed onto the busy dual carriageway. Sadly, the sheep succumbed to its injuries ... and the impact hadn't done my friend's vehicle much good either! Cost her the best part of a "grand" for repairs. Luckily she herself was unhurt - although badly shaken.

hit a fox cub once, had to go back and finish the poor thing off,
now last week, well if anyone knows how stupid pheasants are, one came running at my car decided to try fly over it,well i mean ,you seen pheasants fly lol, such a bang bounced off my windscreen spliced itself on my roof bars , feathers ,blood all over, too messy to get a good meal from it,
today i noticed it cracked my windscreen, wish id eaten the stupid thing now

oh yeah, the time i hit an old lady i was driving down a steep hill, shes stood at the curb,im getting closer,,,, she starts to cross,, she stops as i start to break, then sets off again as i step back on the gas , it continued,,,,, meanwhile i was steering to miss her,, by the time i hit her ,,, i had chased her to the other side of the road, at the time i hit her i had slown to about 5 miles hour, wasnt funny at the time, but it did look like i had run her accros the road to hit her,,,, u know when your walking someone walks toward you,you both do a little ducking and diving and dancing then laugh before you pass, by the way the old lass was ok

    That's a sad end.

Last year sometime, these two cats were chasing each other and one ran right out in front of my car and clipped it. It wriggled about for a second or two in shock, then ran off before I had chance to stop or anything so I guess it must have been ok. Hope the other cat didn't catch up with it after that!

The only thing I've run over is a pigeon. Stupid bird waltzed out under my tyres and all I heard were bones crunching. Anyway, that was dinner sorted. Went down nice with some spuds

Pheasants are the most stupid creatures I've come across. I've seen them stand at the side of the road and as soon as you drive towards them, they start crossing. I haven't hit one yet but I don't know how......squirrels aren't that bright either.
