You know what Englishman, you and I have so much in common. I've followed your posts, because to me, your thinking on many things, and your personal experiences are so very close to my own. I do not know your age ( and you don't need to disclose)
but I am 60 years old (and sometimes just as impulsive as I always was)
Right after I sold that OMG beautifil, stunning, desirable, hairaising, sexy TVR, I immediately bought a Mercedes Benz S320 LWB S320. A car I still have today.
Can't tell you how much I lost on the TVR and can't tell you how much I paid for the Merc (it's obscene)
I do have a very soft spot for cars.
I also have a very soft spot for travel. I was so lucky enough to have a job that required world travel (at first or business class) for 30 years.
I could tell so many stories but I'm ashamed.
You take care Englishman, enjoy every precious moment. The only time you can make any immediate impact on life is
'now'.
Certainly not history, it's gone, and not in in the future. You thinkl you can predict the future?? It's only
NOW. Go for it.
