Are visitors on student visas allowed to legally work in the UK

It used to be about 20hours MAX per week. It may have been reduced to 10 hrs , not sure though.
Shouldn't be allowed. But that's my biased opinion. Sorry

HI all, i do not think that it is allowed on all student visas and i have found that you can not work on a student visa in any country in fact. If they catch you then they will deport you.
