Its obvious that Mr Iran was the one in the wrong here (breaking the Geneva Convention and denying consular access for starters), and I'm sure the world can see that Iran was staging a "show". And it proves the British way of sorting this out was more civilised than how the Americans would have handled it.
Its good that their safe, but I think this is just a propaganda for Mr. Iran.
There is always death and taxes; however, death doesn't get worse every year.
The British soldiers came out looking like total prats.
A dozen soldiers 1 mile away from Iran, unable to defend themselves, get picked up.. then the president shakes their hands & sends them on their way, like kids who had been caught scrumping apples.
Looks very very bad for the british army, call it propaganda if you want - certainly got more press than if they had been killed by an iraqi car bomb.
....and as a final punishment, they've been sent back the UK

Yeah, and after sciving off their jobs for two weeks and sucking up to the Iranians (who we're NOT at war with so any chance of harm to the captives is unlikely) they've come home to no doubt have some more leave!! Shouldn't they be disciplined and sent to the front line?....and as a final punishment, they've been sent back the UK
