thanks for the info....i have one more question do i need to have a work if i apply for the visa
i mean is it a good thing if i have work and i can show my finacial status ????
i beleive ,bank statements for the past 6 months, wage slips ie proof of earnings over past 6 months, though i have heard of less than six being accepted,if you dont work but have a good amount of savings this may be enough, the main thing is that you can prove that you can keep her financialy for the first 6 months without her being dependant on the state, and of course a place to live ie your own home, council house, or with relatives provided you have your own room big enough, if im wrong about any of this info i just gave you, im sure those here that are more knowledgable than myself will correct me,
some or all of your answers your looking for im sure you will find already answered in other posts, good idea to look around
@imagine thanks for the quick reply on my post my bf hav work right now....it is me who doesnt hav work but i worked before
does it matter?????
can i ask which is the best bcause we are thinking about getting married here in philippines
so we dnt knw which is the best to do a fiance visa or spouse visa ???
i dont think it matters which, as long as you can provide the requirments needed for your visa, and for your marrage if in philippines, getting married in philippines will be cheaper, ie wedding reception ect, all the answers are here in the posts ,good idea to take your time reading them gather the information you need, if you have anything your not sure of or want to check if you got it right, then come back here and post your quirys, and check you have the correct info, im sure then someone will be happy to check what you have and if you got it right

If any specific questions fire away.
But as Imagine says, you must be able to support your fiancee without public funds, you must have adequate accommodation etc
You must have met.
Take a look and get back here
Hi Dan and Pam, welcome to the forum
I wouldn't loose any sleep over it.
They will be looking for more substantial attributes like wages etc, just making sure you both won't be a burden to the British tax payer
Good luck with the application Dan and Pam
