    Santander Bank Grrrrrrr

I have a business account with this outfit. On Tue I ordered a Euro Draft from them for a charge of £10.00. It hasn't turned up - as I'm dialling their number I remember a run in I had with them late last year because they post them out 2nd class.

The girl investigates, confirms I made the request 8/3 and says the reason I've not received it is they've run out of stationery ie cheques

You couldn't make it up ....a bank running out of cheques !

I didn't do an electronic transfer cos I'm not willing to swell their coffers with £23 for a 1500 quid transaction.

I recently changed my bank due to incompetence.

Santander was going to be my new bank, instead we plumped for the Nationwide. Im happy did

you should try RBS, my misses has had an account with them for near 6yrs, and she went to ask about a loan for £5k to buy a newer car, they quoted her %19 APR over 5 yrs , stantander i think was %12APR and M&S i think was %8.4

and RBS is what %80 owned by the tax payer and lost more than £1b last year
