One of the quirks of football is awarding a penatly when the player is going away from goal!!!! Surely it makes sense only getting one if it's a goal scoring chance, otherwise it's just a free kick.

I know it's a rule but it doesm't make any sense. FIFA won't change it as it'd mean fewer goals, which proves it's a rule that effect games from non-goal scoring chances.
