    wondering

    what if the time comes that you fail the test "Life in the UK" and your time to take the ILR is fast approaching ..what is the alternative that you could do or consider

    You could try to apply for FLR which will give you another 2 year stay.

    Meadows, don't forget you'd need to have a pass for the English Language test in order to apply for FLR.
    If you really think you may not have sufficient time to study and pass Life in UK then I would suggest you get that English Language pass as a good back up. Everbody who has taken the English test has said it is very basic and easy.

    This is why you do all these tests as soon as possible. Never wait till you are approaching application time.

    book your life in uk test asap and keep trying until you pass ( you shouldn't really have a problem passing ) you really dont want to waste time and money on flr and a further test

    If I was a foreigner researching for the 'life in the UK' test I reckon I'd stay where I was !

    It would be interesting to see how many Brits could pass the English test too.

    hmmm thats not quitely on my mind i would rather pass the uk life test than the hasstle of FLR btw thanks for the advice indeed
