Thanks for the help and links I did not know you paid so much for the visa how nieve I am looks like £750 for the settlement visa and no refund if visa is rejected. My wife and I decided to try the family visit visa because we believed it would be to hard for her to come on the settlement visa and I could not take a chance on her being refused,my biggest concern is our age gaps she is 28 years old and I am 55 years old.I think I will ask her to join this forum so she can see for herself the things involved with the visa aplication,theres this life in the uk test biometrics and a language test sounds so difficult makes me want to pack up my things and move to the Philippines.
