I think there's quite a few of us wishing we hadn't poo-pooed the idea of being a 'tradesman' after leaving school.
I have visited some very upmarket properties belonging to plumbers/electricians etc in recent years.
In fact an old electrician friend of mine owns maybe 100 properties in and around my town now.When he was 24 he only had 12 bringing in rent from DHSS people.
