    ILR & Schengen Agreement

... does anyone know - for certain - whether having Indefinite Leave to Remain in the UK, eliminates the need for prospective travellers to continental Europe having to apply for a Schengen Visa?

i think im right in saying arthur that you need to have a british passport to be eliminated from not needing a shengen visa if you have ilr but still have a filipino passport then you will need to apply for a shengen visa

Yes ... I rather thought that would be the case, Stevie; although Myrna has ILR she still holds a Philippines' passport which she intends to exchange next year at the time of her application for British Citizenship.

    followed by
    ...British Passport

Forgot to mention that you will need to have some funds left after all those previous visa costs.
