    hoping.....

been a member of this site for a long while and its been a part of my everyday routine to read a lot of new and old posts in here hoping that it will help for my future application....so far we gathered most of the documents they required but just one last problem regarding with our finances....again my fiancee is retired already had his monthly pension (that definitely do him for the month and still have some left before the next comes but not much),he never had experience an overdrawn bank acct.,got savings but the problem is he got it on cash....my question is if he put it on his bank account do we need to wait for 6 mos.??and on my finances side....for almost 8 years i am working in a fish market whealing and dealing so basically theres no papers and documents i can prove to them...and i owned a lease on part of an apartment consisting of 3 rentable rooms, and i have a document to verify this...my question is do i need to submit that document too???if YES do i need that document to be certified????and after my annulment the court demand to my x-husband to pay me xxxxx amount of money for the lost years that he abandoned me and my 2 kids, and he will be paying me this april.....my question is if i put it on my savings account will it help for my application???do i need to show them the documentation too(i mean the decision of my annulment)????and do they just want the "decree of nullity of marriage" or they also want the clarification of the NSO????i hope someone could really help me with this matters, coz i tried to read and read to save me from asking but not all of my questions had been answered.....thank u

any cash you have available will help in you total finance picture when applying for a settlement visa

If your applying for a fiance visa to marry in the uk your cenomar should surfice since at that point your civil status will be single as if never married

If your kids are coming with you you will need the fathers consent if his name is on the birthcertificates for them to leave the Phils and perhaps dswd clearance check when you do the cfo seminar

You dont say when your annulment was achieved that might make a cenomar advisable since it would show you havnt remarried ~I dont think your kids staying in the Phils will affect your application

let your fiance explain in his letter of support about how he manage his finances, any other documents to provide that he is receiving pension which can support your application?
am sure some members on here will explain further on how they do it.

yes if you are a lease owner you need a document to provide this and if you have any bank statement you need the bcvs request form ,if you want to use it to support your visa application.

    http://www.vfs-uk-ph.com/applying.aspx

'Visa applicants who request bank certificates to support their visa application are advised to use the official BCVS request form. The bank will then confirm the information on the BCVS allowing UK Border Agency staff at the British Embassy to verify the certificates authenticity.

This system has been developed in conjunction with the Bankers Association of The Philippines and Philonline, under agreement of Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas. Banks currently registered with the BCVS are: Allied Bank, Asian United Bank, Bank of Commerce, BDO, BPI, Chinabank, Export and Industry Bank, Landbank, Maybank, Metropolitan Bank, PNB, Phil.Veterans, RCBC, PBCom and Standard Chartered, Union Bank, Security Bank Corporation, United Coconut Planters Bank.''

yes, the ''annotated'' copy from the NSO and a copy of all your annulment papers is what you need to submit to the embassy.

and heres the checklist of documents for fiance visa:

hope you get it all sorted...good luck!!

toging, being retired and receiving pension is not any problem. In many ways it's an advantage over employment as you cannot lose your income.
Being a sponsor and fiance it makes no difference if retired or employee. Disposable income is the key.
Is your fiance is receiving a private pension or government state pension?
When you say receive by 'cash' I guess this means he is receiving a Giro Cheque each week or month and cashing at the post office ?
Does your fiance receive Pension Credit?
Normally a Giro Cheque is sent with a confirmation letter. Anyways it is not a problem.

I cannot add anything to what my friends and *fellow-members have already explained ... since I am not at all familiar with the annulment process either here or in the Phils. But, like your fiance, I receive a State Pension ... on the strength of which, I was able to bring my Filipina spouse to the UK two years ago. With this in mind - and by following the advice [as I did!] of those *knowledgeable people who have so far responded to your thread - you'll have enough 'tobegoing' (excuse the pun!) on with. to our friendly online site and Good Luck when your turn comes!
