Excellent news, but he'll be more "gutted" to lose the £600k pa Coca Cola money - they were mugs for hiring him in the first place, no doubt other would be sponsors will now think long and hard before taking him on.
He's a fool and deserves it - and I'm a United supporter.
He's a role model to millions of young boys and should know how to behave. My 8 year old was a big Rooney fan, but last night while we were watching the Champions League game, he said to me that he didn't like Rooney anymore because he used a swear word.
His favorite player is now Ryan Giggs, a far better ambassador and role model in my opinion
