It was tough for me because I don't know 60's and not much of the 70's but it still was a decent quiz. Appreciate it Les

ok first one to google the answer wins 50 points

    Question for you Les

I used to see a guy at the Flamingo in the 60s who made a really good version of Stormy Monday Blues under another name. He also had a hit with a Stones song.
    Name that man

Otis Redding appeared at the Flamingo, and recorded "Satisfaction", but can't remember him in a band, or appearing under another name.

Chris Farlowe ? ..... "Out of Time", but can't remember him doing a version of Stormy Monday Blues.

THEM (Van Morrison) appeared at the Flamingo, did do a version of They Call it Stormy Monday (different song), but cannot recall them covering a Stones song.
No man is an island, but Barry is

Scored only 51% against a Pass mark of 80%

    Great quiz Les
    I really enjoyed that.
It just proved to me how much I'd forgotten from all those years ago.

Some I never really knew anyway.

Well Done Les, and thanks for your effort.

Thanks I will do another one if anyone wants-could make it a bit longer but perhaps a bit easier and more up to date.

I always thought it was Chris Clark.
I'm too young to understand all the complexities of Motown and Tamla Motown or even if they were all the same.

In my opinion the BEST white singer ever to sing on the Motown label was Dusty Springfield. Noooooo Doubt IMHO
