44 out of 163, but question 3 was a blank screen
just checked it seems ok
anyway here will do name mott the hoople lead singer?
Sorry if it was a bit tough,if people complain i will do easier one-its just my specialist subject
It was tough for me because I don't know 60's and not much of the 70's but it still was a decent quiz. Appreciate it Les
I wanted to put who sang "bring the baby in with the bacon" but thought thats too hard.
ok first one to google the answer wins 50 points
Hint it was the b-side of a 70s hit-american singer
Had a look at it, think i'd end up with a zero if i did it! It's alright for you coffin dodgers!
Question for you Les
I used to see a guy at the Flamingo in the 60s who made a really good version of Stormy Monday Blues under another name. He also had a hit with a Stones song.
Name that man
Otis Redding appeared at the Flamingo, and recorded "Satisfaction", but can't remember him in a band, or appearing under another name.
Chris Farlowe ? ..... "Out of Time", but can't remember him doing a version of Stormy Monday Blues.
THEM (Van Morrison) appeared at the Flamingo, did do a version of They Call it Stormy Monday (different song), but cannot recall them covering a Stones song.
No man is an island, but Barry is
Nearly on the money Bluebirdjones,
Chris Farlowe under the name of Little Joe Cook
the questions are hard! i only got to answer The Beatles and Backstreet Boys! hahahaha
Scored only 51% against a Pass mark of 80%
Great quiz Les
I really enjoyed that.
It just proved to me how much I'd forgotten from all those years ago.
Some I never really knew anyway.
Well Done Les, and thanks for your effort.
