HELP !! Printing chat from YM to prove communication.

Hi all,

Rizz and i are applying for her visa and as we have been reading the forums we see we have to prove communication. Unfortunately we have a big problem here. We have been in contact on ym chat for over a year and a half but both of us have had computer problems and lost all our archive. Sure we have some emails and letters but not much as online chat is so much more convienent. We only have the last four months archived which i am now saving to memory stick every day.

Any ideas ???

I wouldn't worry, they aren't going to read every word anyway. As long as you've got a few historic e-mails and some chat printed off you should be fine

yes they should be ok - it's continued relationship "history" they are looking at rather than short term quicky relationship....

another suggestion for storage is online email etc - send your chat to yahoo mail or another... if you usb or other storage fails u - which it can - u have free online backup....

I prefer to use Googletalk as it automatically backs up into googlemail which is web based rather than software on your PC, which means you can access it from any PC, internet enabled phone or tablet PC and don't have to worry about losing it if you need to reformat your hard drive

I haven't got any YM chat saved although I'm probably getting close to 2000 emails!

That's a bad news James. I hope Rizz is ok with it. Keep your chats on your emails. Take note dates are very important. I remember all the work just for Renz and I to be together. It was never easy. You need to have so much love for both of you to make it through. Good luck!!!

Hi there - DOnt get too stressed over the ym archive - As others have said its really a proof of ongoing relationship that counts - Just provide what they ask for and be truthful throughout - cut no corners and you will be together soon .

Thanks Guys and Girls, we are printing everything we have from facebook chats to western union receipts showing dates, plus postage receipts for presents we have sent each other.

well if you still have phone bills years ago that prove you have been in contact with her, it might help.... My hubby save all his phone bills so we includes phone bills for year 2008 2009 that show my number ... hope this helps.. good luck on your application!

Yes have been in contact with my phone provider today and they are sending me 18 months of itemised bills, im sure that will help. Thanks
