Self-drive boat (RIB) hire in Pinas or Thailand?

I am going to asia at the back end of the year, maybe nov-jan,one of my old mates who has been to Pinas a few times when we were based in Hong Kong together will be coming for a month with his boy,we are toying with the idea of taking our sons island hopping for a fortnight with a self-drive RIB if we can find an outfit that rents themI found a few catamarans and yachts for rent but its not quite what we had in mind, bit(massive actually)of a long-shot but anyone know of a rental firm in Pinas or LOS that rent out boats?

Sometimes you're flush and sometimes you're bust, and when you're up, it's never as good as it seems, and when you're down, you never think you'll be up again. But life goes on.

The beauty of a woman is seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides. True beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It's the passion that she shows to the outside world.

    Sounds like good fun

Sorry I can't help with the boat, Elaine's dad's got a little fishing boat with a 25 HP outboard, but don't think it would be much good for what you want.

I could get a loan of a banca but its not what I am after to be honest,I am out several times a week in a rib with 2X175 engines,we both think it would be a good trip for the boys if we packed a few bits of kit and spent a while island hopping, random itinerary just flitting around on a whim,I will keep looking,I hope we find one even if it is in LOS

Not tried this but wouldn't mind. Been round these parts, and the scenery is something else.

Been to Lao mate, but that boat trip is a structured, serene, tranquil sort of trip,we are looking for self-drive with no-one else so we can wake up,make a coffee on a driftwood fire and cast off when we want going where we wantA little adventure for the kids

I really envy you. Wish I could manage to do that. My wife would love that too. Maybe one day we'll do it. Great dream for us.
Hope you bring it off, especially for the kids. What a lifetime experience and memory it would be for them. Unforgettable.
