    Good luck with your application. 14 may might be a bit ambitious, we submitted our spouse visa application on 24 march & apart from txt telling us they had received application & saying that they are busy due to peak season we are still waiting for result. Hopefully we will hear this week. Once again, good luck to you both.

    3. T.B Certificate

    Didn't know that this was a requirement in the Philipphines as from the UK Border Agency website below they list the countries that are compulsory;
    Health (TB) screening
    Residents in the following countries applying for a visa to come to the UK for longer than 6 months need to get a certificate confirming that they are free from infectious Tuberculosis (TB) before applying for a visa:

    Ghana plus Burkina Faso, Cote d'Ivoire, Togo and Niger (which Ghana also issues visas for),
    Kenya plus Eritrea, Somalia, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Rwanda, Uganda (visitor applications) and Tanzania (which Kenya also issues visas for),
    Pakistan,
    Bangladesh
    Sudan
    Thailand plus Cambodia and Laos (which Thailand also issues visas for)

    A good document to have anyway.

    Even 20years ago they X-rayed the wife when she arrived in the UK first time.

    Lancashirelad,
    All best wishes the granting of the visa. You'll both be celebrating soon.
    Your application details looks fine.
    I agree with others, you travel dates may be a bit optimismic, but hey others have done
    recently. Fingers crossed for that
