If shes in the UK and trying to get a divorce from a UK marriage I'd suggest you go to a local Solicitor who specialises in Family Law (ie not legal aid, criminal, immigration etc) and arrange an initial free of charge interview. They should then explain the process, fees, timescales etc. Be prepared though cos using a Solicitor isn't cheap. Does she really need a lawyer ? if straighforward can be DIY
