    VISA follow up

    Hi,

Can i Follow up my tourist visa By visiting UK embassy @ McKinley Road?
i already sent an email @ ManilaVisaEnquiries@fco.gov.ph but no reply.. I already called VFS hotline but they said we cannot do anything.. we just wait for the uk embassy decision and updates. im on a group tour departing May 10 and going back at may 17.

Im with my Girlfriend. Soon to be married. this trip is a birthday gift for her. All expenses of my girlfriend will be sponsor by me. We lodge last April 12 2012. My girlfriend got her approved visa 3 days only because of the fast track Criteria. she has a usa visa...

My application is on regular process 15 working days. Im not qualify with the fast track.. but as of now May 6 still no update from the embassy. im just worried with my Visa application.. any advice?

    Hi Evo,
You cant do anything but to wait for British embassy updates.. they will text or call you for interview if necessary but if they will grant you outright visa/refusal, you receive their text update that they've made decision on your application with them...

If it's you 2nd application, you will be qualified for fast tract application just like mine my visa was give the following day after lodging my papers...

God bless on your application,, Be patient in waiting...

Hi ann_barnett,.. just wondered if I can avail the fast track visa application service. I only knew about it while reading this thread. My 2 sons and I have been granted a 6 months visit visa last year and soon we'll be lodging our application for Settlement Visa. Are we qualified to avail the fast tract service?

Don't forget that there is Consulate Training is happening during May 2-20 so many delays could be possible.
I do recall that there was an advisory on the British Embassy website.
    Good luck and stay cool

seems a very busy season for the embassy..anyway,it is reminded before you apply a visa not to book a flight until you get the result and there is a guidelines for processing times.

hi! I also lodged my settlement visa application with dependant last April 01 and still waiting for a text message for our visas. fingers crossed. hopefully everything will be alright. I keep on going to different churches and pray for our visas to be granted soon as I also need to know the decision of the embassy before the school year come so I will know if I need to enroll my daughter in school or not. Next month is the start of the school year here in the Phils.

Hi Jen28, goodluck to both of us. Haven't lodge mine yet as I am waiting for the original documents from my husband.,but will soon lodge it sometime next next week. We have the same concern, whether to enroll my sons or not. I think while waiting for the visa to be approved it will be good for them to be in school. Plus the fact that we are still not sure if it will be approved or not, or how long will it be processed.

Yes ... I can understand your anxiety, Jen. It's a great pity the Visa System weilds such a marked influence over peoples' plans ... and hinders them from getting on with their lives. But try not to fret, though ... your time WILL come.

Just an update my Jennie just got an email from vfs saying "Your visa will be despatched shortly. Passports can normally be collected from the Visa Application Centre after 3 days" and a text saying processed visa applicaion is ready for collection tomorrow between 2-3 pm
fingers crossed its good news that the visas for her and her daughter has been approved.

its been 6 weeks since we filed it so those who are still waiting be paitent they are just slow at the moment recovering from all the bank holidays.

A decision on your Visa application reference number: 000000000000000 has been made by the British Embassy.
Your application has been received at the UK Visa Application Centre and is ready for collection.

Now this made me really nervous. Just this morning the consul phoned me and now the decision is ready! OMG! I'm feeling so weak now, can't wait till Monday!

    Hi aryM,
Yes you are qualified for fast track application as long as you've traveled to UK in the last five(5) years...

But still the decision will be based on the supporting documents that you will submit to them.... But once your application has been stamped for fast track, your application is their priority than the regular one for processing... At least it has an advantage...

Mid of July or early August i will lodge my papers for settlement this time as i just married last 16 April of this year... Like you, im still waiting for my husband's original documents while waiting also for my marriage contract from NSO...

Im planning to take TOEIC on June 15 and kinda nervous on Speaking & Writing upon reading Hopkins' handbook for test takers.. Any tips from those who ave taken already specially from Hopkins(Makati)...
