    Flr visa after marriage

    Hi all can anyone please give me the answer to this question! my beautiful fiance is now here in the UK and we will marry next month, how long after we are married do we have to wait before we can apply for the FLR visa?

    Hi yes took that in phil and finger prints taken too all done in Manila!

    You can apply as soon as the ink on the marriage certificate has dried.

    However, she'll still have to do the biometrics all over again.

    They'll contact you about this, so just wait.

    (I assume that they check them against their database as per the results that they obtained in the Philippines to make sure it's still the same person, but perhaps I'm giving the UKBA too much credit)

    Sorry guys i have another question! which I have tried to find the answer too but confused! can someone please explain the difference between FLRO and FLRM ?

    Thank in advance sorry if i am sounding thick guys but we want to get this right!

    Service FLR (O)

    Application for leave to remain in the United Kingdom as a visitor, overseas qualified nurse or midwife, Private Servant in a Diplomatic household, Dependant of exempt HM Armed Forces, Long Residence or for other purposes/reasons not covered by another application form.

    Service FLR (M)

    Application for an extension of stay in the UK as the partner of a person present and settled in the UK.

    So you will need to fill in FLR (M)
