Ripped off on Ebay again

I don't buy a lot of stuff off Ebay, maybe once a month, if that. Bought an item two weeks ago and it still hasn't arrived. I've sent a couple of emails to the seller but no reply and this guy is a power seller too. He says in the listing that delivery will take a couple of days. It only cost £3 but that's not the point and this is not the first time it's happened to me when buying on Ebay.

If I don't get a response by tomorrow, I think I'll leave some negative feedback. Really annoying when this happens!

Don't worry.... If you paid by PayPal you're covered. Give him a chance... maybe he's had some problems & can't answer you. I sell on ebay too, & sometimes it really isn't possible to get everyone's orders out as fast as expected. PayPal cover you for 45 days. If you paid by credit card you've got 4 months (by my banks rules). You won't lose!

I got ripped off for £300 a few years ago, I was new there then and was daft enough to pay by Western Union

I learnt from that and only pay through paypal now

I've ordered and sold 100's of stuff, so know what it's like from both sides. Ebay resolve problems quickly now, and you're covered by Paypal.

I've had items from HK/China quicker than I've had from the UK, and Royal Mail do mess up a lot more than people think. I received a pen after 6 weeks!!!! And yet got a package from HK 3 days after ordering

One week this year I ordered 3 things from seperate sellers and they all went missing .... strange it happened to be the week my usual postman was on holiday and the replacement was a young lad!

If you take your dispute to Ebay, they deal with most of them in Makati, my Elaine worked at their call/chat centre for 3 years. Good luck anyway
