LEGAZPI CITY, Philippines—Mt. Mayon in Albay was jolted by 15 volcanic quakes
in the past 24 hour-period on Sunday even as Mt. Bulusan in the neighboring
Sorsogon province continued to show signs of restiveness.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) seismic
network recorded 15 volcanic earthquakes and one rock fall-related event in Mt.
Mayon in the past 24 hours, said a Phivolcs bulletin released on Sunday as of
noon.

It's alive, alive

People tend to forget these volcano's in the Phil are still active. Look at what they call Lake Taal.... it's not a lake, it's a crater. I'll be visiting that and Mt Banahaw on my next visit. Mayon & Pinatubo are on my to-do list for other visits .... I bet the thought of these geological site are getting Rayna excited
