    Mistakes on marriage certificate

I just wondered if it was a big problem that my wife's birthplace is different on marriage certificate from her birth certificate with regards to the spousal visa application?

Could we leave it as it is or do we have to make changes now before submitting our application?

If we have to make changes, how would we go about that? Do we have to go back to the NSO again?

Thank you so much in replying to this thread, any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks for the reply Joe.

The thing is we checked the marriage contract to make sure everything was correct, which it was but when getting the copy from the NSO it says something different

Do you think this would be a quick fix and have you an idea how we go about this?

i think its not a quick fix, i think if it was a spelling mistake then it could be a quick fix, but to get the wrong place may not be..

but get your misses to phone and check..

Hi steve, its just a bit weird that its different from the marriage certificate from NSO. Its always the scanned copy on security paper and nobody can amend it. I think you should really sort it out with them first.
