My best mate was walking home from his girlfriends in the early hours one morning,he is a big guy maybe 6 foot 4 inches and 20 stone approx, heard a diesel motor slow down beside him and a copper asked "Excuse me,can we have a word" it was a request not an order so my mate said simply "No" and kept on walking,he was beaten to the pavement, handcuffed and appeared in court for "Resisting arrest" he has no reason to lie to me,the events arent fabricated,he just didnt want a chat and kept on walkingA policeman approached me today and asked if he could have a word
Sometimes you're flush and sometimes you're bust, and when you're up, it's never as good as it seems, and when you're down, you never think you'll be up again. But life goes on.
The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman is seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides. True beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It's the passion that she shows to the outside world.
I've never had a reason to dislike the Police, over the years I've had quite a few serving Police Officer clients. They are just the same as any other normal person, treat them with respect and they'll probably show respect in return. I don't envy the job they do and the restrictions they are under in the current nanny state letigious society we live in.
Not all, thank goodness for mobile-phone cameras and CCTV,footage is often obtained of police totally abusing their powers In the last two years serving officers have been found guilty of rape, fraud, murder, drug dealing etc, they arent all "Good-eggs"they'll probably show respect in return

I'd love to see the video ofon here. The Police should be reprimanded for not using their bats on the scumbag car thief and then CS'ing him resisting arrest
As traffic crawls along a busy carriageway, the gentle hum of idle motors is shattered when a shouting, bat-wielding gang launch a violent attack on a Mini.
The five attackers smash the car's windows, pile inside and haul the driver onto the tarmac... all to the tune of Tracy Chapman's hit single Fast Car.
But these aren't thugs hellbent on gangland revenge, they are experienced police officers apprehending a suspected car thief.

Well they arent exactly going to be arrested by members of slough Bingo team are they Overwelming evidence John, police HAD to investigate because sometimes there are things that just cant be swept under the carpetall of the officers were arrested by police officers
Theres been a case VERY recently, few weeks ago where BOTH officers falsified evidence,at the courts the accused pulled out a dictaphone upon which he had recorded the events leading up to his arrest Officers were hitherto unaware of this evidence, one suddenly got his solicitor to produce a letter saying he felt intimidated by his colleague and had falsified evidence because of his fearall were convicted on the evidence of police officers
I dont need to subscribe to "The Job" to know the days of dixon of dock green and your friendly village bobby are long gone,as are the days of respecting the uniform, you respect actions and individuals, not people who in cases are as bent as the people they are arresting

I cant sate your curiosity John, but I have met some knuckle-dragging shaven headed neanderthals wearing police uniforms who were in it for the ego-trip and the pension, not everyone joins the force for altruistic reasons, thats a factJust out of curiosity

Although the police selection system is designed to exclude those who would, not only be inefficient, but also who would cause severe embarrassment to the vast majority of those who provide a very high level of public service, it seems inevitable that, as officers are recruited from the general population, that some unsuitable applicants will slip through.
Incidentally, the services of most found unsuitable are weeded out at a fairly early stage. But as the general population is not perfect, it would, unfortunately, be unreasonable to expect every last police officer to be so.
unlawful killing :xxgrinning comes to mind.. but may i say chaps this post started of as a bit of humour ...

Wish I'd taken them up on the offer of a job back when I was 19.
Early retirement and a nice pension, like the brother-in-law.
(Who is incidentally a jolly decent chap )
My nephew has now kept up the tradition though.
Oh, and my uncle had the distinction of covering the biggest beat in the country.
FAR too many miniscule cops now, and weak women. About as much use as chocolate fireguards when amongst a bunch of fighting drunken yobbos.
Bring back the Birch !
Bring back a good smack round the ear !
Bring back Capital Punishment !
Bring back minimum 6ft+ coppers !
Bring back bread and water in prisons, concrete beds and no bloody TVs !
