third party support only on flight and visa fee

hello every one here i am again asking lol

i would like to know if anyone here got a third party support and had no problem having their visa? in my case, my sister would like to give her support to me and my husband, she would like to pay for my flight and my visa as she wants to meet my husband for the first time ( she is always out of town when hubby comes home) will it be a on my application? she will write me a letter of support and all her bank statements. My husband has savings about 1600 only and has a regular income on his bank as well. We are confident to include on his letter of support that none of our savings will be touch for visa fee or flight bec my sister will be paying for it. Will it be a disadvantage on our application?

hi, i dont think you need third party support, as your husband has regular income and £1600 savings. i only had £2000 in my account wen my wife applied for her visa and regular income from work, and she got her visa dispatched same day. as regarding the flights just get your husband to put in part of his supporting letter that your ticket will be purchased on his credit card,so then they can see that the savings will not be used, thats what i did and that was for my wife and 2 children cost of nearly £1500 one way, and i didnt give them any credit card statments. hope this helps. good luck.

3rd party financial support might be allowed, there was court ruling allowing it at a tribunal case a while ago, but i'm still not sure its part of UKBA policy yet..

but anyway trying should not do any harm to your visia app, from what you've said like junior has said you probably wouldn't need it, but you've nothing to lose.

but i wouldnt mention about airtickets and whos paying for them, just show you have savings and 3rd party support, so you will not need recourse to public funds, thats all they are concerned with

I have to support what joebloggs has said.

I personally would not mention about who will pay or how payment will be for airtickets.

Also just to mention that UKBA have not yet included any provision for 3rd party financial support in any visa application.

As it stands right now, the ECO can refuse any visa where finacials are weak or marginal despite any 3rd party financial support.
However, it appears that reconsiderations or formal appeals against a refusal would be successful based upon the declared 3rd party financial support. Obviously this is not a very satisfactory situation and I'm sure things will change soon.

Now, I'm not suggesting that anyone should immediately apply for a settlement visa based solely on 3rd party financial support and the probability that any subsequent appeal would succeed. Just highlighting the current state of affairs as reported by others.

true terpe, but it would make it more difficult to refuse your application if there is a mention of 3rd party support and evidence of it, becuase if its sent with your visa app, but they refuse your visa becuase of finances, then the 3rd party support could be used as evidence at any appeal
