I'm a UK lady having lived 5 years in Thailand and 2 years in the Philippines. Loved the culture and people so much that I brought a man along with me back homeWe are getting married next spring in Birmingham. Conveniently I work at a conference centre so hope to get some discounts for wedding venue prices =P The venue isnt quite ready yet, but I hope it will be by then. Anybody got any ideas on wedding dresses? Ooooo! I'm excited! I particularly LOVE maxi dresses =D

I can't help too much with the wedding plans I'm afraid, basically I'm a minimalist.
I have had 3 weddings with the same lady, and managed to keep them all to minimum budget.
... I've never heard of a "fella" called 'Fiona' before
