update on my settlement application: i lodged my application last may 12 then i got an emailstating: Your visa will be despatched shortly. Passports can normally be collected from the Visa Application Centre after 3 days. Applicants in Australia and New Zealand should allow 3 days before tracking their documents via the local post. UKBA-Manila Visa Hub..... Is this mean i already do have a visa ? guys im reallysooo nervous...then just now i i got an email stating Your processed visa application reference no. AMAN/120511/171597/1 dispatched to you via 2GO Aboitiz on 05/25/2011 Please note this is an auto generated e-mail. Please do NOT reply to this email.
I'm sooo excited but really nervous....

i lodge mine this morning and just got a text that visa application papers has now been dispatched to the embassy... felt nervous really, i hope visa will be granted.

i also got confused when i received that email. but after a few hours, i also got a text message after receiving that email, "ur processed visa application ref no. xxxxxx is ready for collection. u may collect your passport and documents on d next working day after receipt of this message." then i collected it on the next working day. did u put ur cellphone number on the form that u filled up when u lodged ur application? if u did, u should receive a text message as well... ur result was quick! mine took 6 weeks. but worth to wait as i got a positive results! i'm sure ur visa will be granted. goodluck and i'll include u in my prayers.

... THAT'S the standard notification. In 99 cases out of 100, the applicant's passport is returned with the visa intact ...

Congratulations on your successful visa application! The communications coming from the processing centre really ought to be made clear . Just a simple notification stating that the "visa application has been approved and will be despatched shortly" would be a good starter and could avoid the regular confusion that arises and is experienced by so many others.

hi! sorry for the late reply. was doing lot of things now coz we will be leaving phils soon... yes i got the cfo sticker on that same day after the seminar. there are 2 locations to choose for the seminar. u can have your seminar in manila so u can go to CFO office right away to get the CFO stciker coz the location of the seminar in Manila is near in CFO office.
