A couple have been jailed for having sex on a beach in full view of dozens of families.

Lita Dawson and boyfriend Nicholas Harrison, both 51, were spotted on top of each other on Seaford Beach, in East Sussex.

One five-year-old boy told his shocked mother: 'Mummy, that lady was doing push-ups on that man.'

Personally I think three months jail seems far too severe, especially when compared to the shamefully lenient sentences dished out to serial criminals.

But hey, what do I know anyway.
