Yes, I'm afraid so, Steve ... even with Myrna already having ILR, she still needed a *Schengen Visa! It seems to be a prerequisite for partners until they become British Citizens. Mind you, *it's issued completely free of charge - just as it had been when we went to Paris in March last year - the only difference being that, unlike the French Embassy, the Italian Consulate in Edinburgh insists on applicants providing confirmation of flights and hotel bookings.
