...When you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible...

I told my boy not to bother, because I'm a miserable old who doesn't deserve anything.

As life is to live so love is to give
Well, just got a lovely card anyway:
.
"To Dad
Thanks for being an awesome role model and giving me the freedom to do what I want.
Love....."
Thanks Rayna
I've had a lovely weekend with mine...well, every weekend or every day/night I have my kids to stay is lovely, and I'm blessed to have such wonderful kids
Englishman, I'll echo Terpe's sentiments.
I had 'visits only' for 5 years with my boy before he came to live with me, and it is just so awful a situation to be in....especially as I lived 60 miles away.
Hopefully things will improve for you too.
I had a happy fathers day wish from my asawa, she sent the wishes from my 2 step sons.
Biologically, my baby is only 33% grown does that count yet ?
If you want your dreams to come true ...... first you have to wake up
Cheers Graham, As I said in post 11, I've been very lucky when it comes to the kids. I have them stay over with me 2 or 3 nights every week and can see them every day if needed. Although things didn't work out between me and my ex wife, one thing we have always agreed on is that no matter what our differences were, the kids would never get dragged into it and they would have equal access to both of us, and we'd both be involved in how they are brought up and educated.
I've got plenty of pals who've not seen much of their kids after they divorced, I'd never want to be in that position.
Oh that's good to hear.
Fortunately the ex and I had a similar agreement.
Me and my ex fought tooth and nails through numerous courts over my two kids ...... neither of us wanted the thick gits
