Hello everyone! I'm really pleased to find this forum!

I was actually walking down the banks of River Thames yesterday and I was feeling really sad to be away from family and not knowing anyone here.

I figured that the possibility is so great that at least one person has to be feeling the same thing at that same time here in UK. :P

So today when I got to work, I looked up 'Filipinos in UK' and lo and behold... I see this forum.

So we're not really forever alone. Hehe.

I would say so too. When I saw the sign "Cleaning the river together" along Thames, I was thinking "What are you going to clean? For a river that's in the middle of a busy city - this is pretty clean. O_O"

Good thing my guy is showing me around the place and I got to meet his family and friends (the best people ever). Nothing much to do here really. I am staying home until I get the proper visa then I can start looking for a job. We can meet up if boredom strikes you again
