... yes ... I've only gotten around to reading this thread - since I don't know a lot about tennis

Maybe it's due to my hearing difficulties ... but, to MY ears, his responses appear to sound more like mumbles and grunts that belie his obvious talent. 'Has he some kind of problem with his diction?' I find myself wondering; indeed, IS he Scottish at all?
I ask because - whatever our faults (and like most folk, we have many) -

After a quick wash I now have something to use for running in as it's nice and light to wear.
Come next year and if we have qualified for the European Championships I will be in the pub again with all the other daft sods like me supporting England and then cursing them when they get knocked out as usual
I always fall for the hype and think "maybe this time"
