Just a little help needed about getting a visit visa for the Philippines.

I’m trying to apply for the visa on the Philippine embassy UK site, however the relevant links for the forms are broken. Is there any other way to apply for the visa as I’m wanting to get it before I leave.

You mean a visa to visit Phils for longer than the 21 day visit visa?? It is easy to get it on entry in Manila Ninoy Airport. I did it last time, you just ask for it as you get to immigration and they send you to an office where they issue it in about 15 minutes.

Oh ... is that a Balikbayan Visa, Steve? Worth noting for my next visit!

The Balikbayan visa can be issued on arrival but you must be with your wife on entry to avail of this. The validity is 12 months. Just get your wife to hand over both passports at the immigration counter and ask for the BB visa. The visa on arrival is a 59 day visa issued on request after payment of the appropriate fee to BI. Further extensions can be arranged at any local BI office. There is now an additional requirement to secure a visitor ACR card if you are extending a visitor visa beyond 59 days
