my wife named our son Marius, it's derived from either the Roman Mars (God of War), or else from the Latin root mas, maris meaning "male".

it had to start with the letter 'M' as my christian name, my wifes, our daughters and my stepson all start with the letter 'M'

The boy's name Duncan is pronounced DUN-kin. It is of Scottish and Gaelic origin, and its meaning is "dark warrior; brown fighter"

Kendrew is pronounced KEN-droo. It is of Scottish origin, and its meaning is "man, warrior".

    Do u like scottish names?

When I was born my Dad took one look at me and said she's a little jewel, we will call her Julia. It's a good job I didn't do the same with my kids or one would be called turnip head and the other skinned rabbit.
