Difficult choice I know given the fact you have a son and daughter here.
I wonder how many do actually take the plunge while leaving there grown up kids behind.
I'll guess for many it will just remain a dream.
i will be making the choice to leave here , the kids and the grandkids will see me on the computer when they want to.

yep easy for me and like you say everyone cannot do it, my kids live all over england and we stay in touch either by phone , facebook and meeting, they have known my plans for years, they knew i would be leaving england the early days was to france, but a divorce and losing lots of cash later that has changed but leaving england is still forefront

Same here as soon as I can it's foxtrot oscar out of here... I reckon I need another 14 years my lad will be 28 and hopefully in a job with his own family.. That should I hope give me time to clear the mortgage here and buy a little something over there...
