Just when I thought I'll have my wife with me ...

hello everyone i came across this site as i search on how i can get visa for my wife. We have been married for almost four years now and yes, that LONG... we were not able to get visa last few years of marriage as i was overdrawn bec of my travel to Philippines every year and no savings and last month we were to get visa but realize her passport needs to be renewed but aside from that i have this problem regarding my work. I am on sick leave now and my payslips for the last month and even next month now is on LOW as i only get paid for company and sick pay. and im afraid i might go overdrawn the next month as i will not be earning much as before as i will be on temporary work to see if my health is really okay now. Will this problem can be explained and granted by the embassy? I been working for my company for eleven years already and i do have savings on my building society for about 1600 and i dont want to use that for my monthly outgoings as we are saving it for visa too??

am very desperate to have my wife here with me, not only bec of the separation but my health is not going to permit me to travel anymore to Philippines as much as i wanted to see her this year. Should i also explain that in my letter???

I would suggest that the ECO will deny the visa on the grounds that you will not be able to support your wife.. not what you want to hear, harsh but likely the result, The UK is an expensive place to be especially on a low income.

thanks guys i will try my best to explain to the embassy on my letter that my income will be low only for few weeks and my od will be paid and only one statement is OD. I hope they will consider this fact as i have been working for this company for eleven years and it will show on my payslips and my bank statements that i have a regular and suitable income to provide for my wife once she is here with me,

Hi Arthur! I am honored to have caught your attention… but I cannot see the difference, didn’t I say that I am not respectable, of course I am! .... yeah but for just a member like me… forgive my ignorance…. I am only showing my appreciation to people like you here in the forum who have the reputable knowledge and opinions to share, and that’s exactly how I look at you... Respectable
