I just got word from VFS that once the online application form is printed, then the print itself is valid for 30 days. Which can be quite useful to know. Ours is dated 24th August. Hope to submit it tomorrow....

I cant hep you with VFS itself but you can book easily with heir VIP lounge on +63 2 501 3217

I know it is an extra 1800 but you may feel it is worth it.
They only need 24 hours notice.

We had a problem, entering the wifes phone number on the application...It wouldn't accept it?
Had to try again, the next day...Can't quite remember offhand, but it might have been a case of putting 0063 international code at the beginning?

we had problems also entering the code on the application, it says enter code, +44 for example, but it wont let you enter the +, we just put 63 and 44,to be honest i wasnt very impressed with some of the daft problems, they should fix these things because its a very important application

... it IS, indeed, Tony - as are ALL such applications - especially to the couples concerned. I'd like to take this opportunity of wishing you and Eliza all the very best with yours, my friend, and Godspeed it'll be dealt with quickly.

For the VIP Lounge, yep, same day in our case. They only ask for 24 hours notice. They send you form to fill out and send to them.

Yes remittance is the money you've sent...I should put the papers you mention from your sister in-law, in with your financial details.

Has your application gone in yet Tony? We got a text from VFS today, after 3 days, saying:

"Visa application ref no AMAN/xxxxxxxxxx is being processed at the British Embassy. For processing guidlines visit www.vfs-uk-ph.com/guidlines.aspx. All applications are assessed individually which may result in varied processing times. This is currently our peak season hence applications can take longer to process."

I saw a post by Win2Win yesterday, which indicated that there are a lot of visitors visas going in for Xmas, at this time.......
