I can see all this coming ahead of me. Messing with air tickets. But good to get a tipoff. So that mine and me can be prepared. Incidentally, I had a lot of trouble with Emirates when I paid for my trip to Phils with my credit card. So I can identify with what Tone went through. I am intending to fly mine by KLM to Manchester but I am going to meet her in Amsterdam at a weekend. That's my game plan (if she gets the visa that is).

I just phoned KLM and I am going to go to Liverpool on a weekend (I live on the Isle of Man) and pay cash at the KLM desk. To avoid any issues - I hope.

Sometimes I have found better deals at less cost by booking in Pinas and sending the money. This happened for us as recenty as June this year with family visit to UK.
