hi, I got the same problem, I'll be glade if anyone could help with this issue ...
Genuine employers will have a certificate of sponsorship issued to them by UKBA
The employer will be able to provide you with a unique reference number which can be verified with UKBA.
Certificates of Sponsorship are 'Virtual Documents' so the details are easily transmitted electronically.
