    Home Office stripping more dual-nationality Britons of citizenship

    from a few days ago, but I dont recall reading anything about it on here, citizenship is not always for life then

    Apparently NOT ... having said that, I've always had my suspicions that naturalised Britons COULD be stripped of their citizenship if convicted of serious criminal activities.

    Nor me ... otherwise you'd have thought the likes of Dedworth would've picked up on it! ... but there again, the article appeared in the 'Guardian' - and [possibly] not the Daily Mail.

    I was aware of those rules joe.
    The most media published case I recall involving this law was related to Abu Hamza.
    Seems our govt failed there as he was not a dual citizen. The Egyptian govt. withdrew his nationality first.

    I doubt that Anna Chapman..(The Russian spy) cares much about her British status..
    Seems she has become a big star with her own TV programme in Russia since her home coming!
