    Hello Maricris,

    Welcome to this friendly forum.

Please let John check this website. http://www.cbngrupo.net/complaintport/London.html

Been using it for almost 3 years now. It is mostly what the filipinos in the UK, Spain, Belfast... are using. The rate is high as of now (£70.30) comparted to Western UNion & banks and it will only cost him 5% service charge £1-£3000. If you got the CBN Cash card it's only 4%. If he sends the money before the cut-off 12noon, you will get the money the following day. After the cut-off, you will get the money a day after.

He may phone CBN London for registration & will allow him to send u money the first time. He may download the form for registration from the website or he can ask the operator (Filipino operators-u can speak tagalog with them & their so friendly) to send him a form. He can apply for a Cash card for you & it will take a month to process. CBN London will send u the cash card to your doorstep. You may withdraw the cash to any BDO branches in Pinas & use it as Debit card in SM city. They will attached leaflets.

But if you have a BDO debit card in 'Pinas that would do or any bank account of yours for him to register your bank acct to CBN London to send u money at anytime. It's a 24 hrs service. He may send u money from his bank acct (either online banking or phone banking) & transfer it to CBN london's bank account (Natwest, Lloyds, hsbc). Once he's done with the transaction, he may phone the CBN london's 24 hrs hotline & advise the operator his ID number (once he's registered-member has id no.), advise the amt sent & when, how did he send it (online/ over the counter/ phone banking), what bank (once registered CBN London will advise you their bank accts at your convenient), then whom to send (once he registered your name, CBN london have it all in their system).

Hope he will find it convenient.

Bless u & looking forward to your bloosoming relationship.

Just a quick post from me. My wife doesnt have a bank account. So I send her a Moneygram through the post office each week which costs £9.90 regardless of the amount sent. I am not saying it is the best method but it works quite well and we have got into that routine.

We regarded it as a temporary measure anyway until she gets here.

We didnt have time to open a bank account when I was in Phils cos we were so busy getting married etc and visiting VFS etc.

    We sometimes used Moneygrammes too.

Very easy and never had a problem.
