Well i believe on it that every food has it's own nutritional values . Some food are good but some aren't But still u can't say all takeaway foods are unhealthy . For example some peoples told that eating egg yolk is unhealthy but i am not agree with it because it is really good for skin and hairs .

Dad, Cambs and Mum, Surrey, so I guess I'm a southern softie too, although I always consider my self an East Midlander as I've always lived in Lincs/Leics

    Yes, but it gets worse.

    Maternal Grandma was Irish...from Wicklow.

My poor boy is 12.5% Irish, 12.5% savvern softie, 25% Yorkshire and 50% Filipino.

Nothing to do with take away foods but here goes:-
My mum was born in Mitcham (London). Her parents (my grandparents) were both born and bred in Newcastle upon Tyne, and had extreme geordie accents. As a young'un I always had problems to understand what they were talking about. Oddly, my mum had a London accent.
Anyway, my dad was from Market Harboro'. My mums parents never did really like the southern softie, always interesting times.
My mum stuck with my dad through 'thick and thin'. Plenty of 'thin' I can say.
Plenty of thick too, if you include 'thick-ears'
