Government launches consultation on family migration

There have been some posts on this recently. I have to admit I was convinced we had this information covered. Maybe not.

Anyway at the risk of duplication, it does, IMO, warrant it's own thread.

For all those interested in the often mentioned potential changes to immigration rules that could be implemented April 2012, here is the news item that was published on the UKBA website 13 July 2011:-
Government launches consultation on family migration

    Here is the consultation document:-
    FAMILY MIGRATION
    A CONSULTATION

    Here is the response form:-
    FAMILY MIGRATION
    CONSULTATION RESPONSE FORM

The immigration requirements on settlement have been subject to changes for a number of years.
I'm sure most here have been impacted at some time.
All the changes make life more difficult.

Please take a look at the document - Family Migration A Consultation I admit it's heavy going, so maybe it's better to start any discussions around the key consultation questions on PAGE 72 of 77

This is just a reminder for all members and visitors that the Family Migration consultation is still open.

The government says it's looking for ways of preventing sham marriage and improving immigration policy and law.

The government states it wants to hear the VIEWS of the people and LISTEN to the people. That they will DO what people want.
We should do all we can as individuals and try to respond to the consultation which is still open until 06/October/2011Here is the link:- https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/7X6HHLX

There's little point in having and expressing valid and genuine ideas in this forum and then failing to respond to the consultation.

Our responses can make a difference to family migration/immigration in the UK.
