Healthy Illegal Immigrant racks up £100000 NHS charges

An illegal immigrant not eligible for NHS healthcare has been staying at a British hospital for more than a year - costing taxpayers £100,000.

The unnamed Pakistani national - whose visa to visit the UK expired in September 2007 - is still a patient at Russells Hall Hospital in Dudley, West Midlands, despite being treated and declared fit to be discharged in August 2010.

When we were in the UK last year, and Marvie was pregnant, I received and paid about 3000 pounds worth of bills to the NHS for her medical treatment (blood tests, ultrasound etc).
Is this is a fair system?

No - you are the mug for not binning her passport and any other ID then telling the hospital she was a penniless asylum seeker
