Can an Immigration officer stop me from flying?

Good day to all

I already got my tourist visa to Austria it took them 6days to decide about it and till now I still can't believe that I made it through the rain Anyway, my question is that is it possible that the Immigration can stop me or anyone from flying even though I already got the visa?

I've read some blogs and it said that some of the immigration officers are corrupt or they have this crab mentality.. so am a little bit worried about this.

Yes, essentially they can stop you under the Human Trafficking Laws. Ensure you have sufficient evidence and supporting documents.

Even though I have a passport with visa on it, letter of support with signature, copy of the passport of my sponsor, been to other Asian countries such as Thailand and Singapore, pictures with my bf, round trip ticket, insurance.
I won't stay long in Austria just 2weeks coz I need to come back to continue my studies coz I'll be graduating soon this March 2012.

What do you think??

Whilst it's impossible to say for sure, as we all know how inconsistant Filipino Government Officers are, but my wife before we were married travelled regularly on her own to meet me for weekends in Hong Kong and across to the UK quite a few times and never had a problem, she had similar also previous stamps in her passport. So I'd think you'll be ok.

The tourist visa in UK or Europe doesn't have any requirements aside from visa, am I right? What I mean is that we don't need to do biometric or meeting something like that

No biometrics, it's all fairly straightforward. They might ask you questions on entering, but if you look genuine and confident, they mostly just stamp your passport and wave you through.

If you got the right paperwork and all is above board then you will be fine.

I have sen people stopped in Manila Airport but that is due to an Issue with the paperwork they have. Which i doubt you have.

Plenty of Ladies on here have flown abroad and had no problems

I guess I will be fine (hopefully). I got all the papers and the requirements they needed.

All I have to do is be confident and answer all their questions without showing to them that I am afraid/nervous and that my intention is genuine. That's what I did when I went to Thailand (my first trip alone).

My trip will be on the 25th of October, I'll post an update here about the trip and about my experience.
